The Ealing Historical Association (EHA) is the local branch of the Historical Association, the UK’s leading organisation dedicated to promoting the study and enjoyment of history. We bring that national mission to our local community through a programme of lectures, guided visits and special events that make history accessible, engaging and enjoyable for everyone.
Whether you’re a lifelong history enthusiast, a student or simply curious to learn more about the past, you’ll find a warm welcome. Each year we invite leading historians, authors and researchers to speak on subjects ranging from local history to global events, ancient civilisations to the modern world. Alongside our lectures, we organise visits to places of historical interest, creating opportunities for members to learn, discuss and explore history together.
Our Meetings
Our lecture season runs from September to June, with meetings usually taking place on the second Tuesday of each month.
Talks begin at 7.30 pm and are open to both members and visitors. When speakers give permission, recordings are also made available to those who register in advance.
Whether you’re attending your first lecture or have been a member for many years, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.
